:bulletpurple: Birthday Kisses :bulletpurple:

“Jareth you ready?”

“Yes, pet. Is the camera turned on?”

Lyn glanced down at the technology resting in her hands, and a large frown rose on her lips. “The light won’t come on. . . Did you plug it into the charger after we finished watching Pride and Prejudice yesterday?”

From his place across from the writer, the Goblin King lounged atop her bed casually, mirroring her frown with a scowl of his own.

"There was still upwards of 70 percent on it, precious."

"But did you plug it in?" She pressed with wide chocolate eyes. When Jareth shook his golden head in the negative Lyn huffed in despair. "Well, there goes singing and our birthday video for Abbykins."

Jareth looked ready to protest, but the woman interrupted him, explaining. "My device is stupid, J. If you don't plug it in when you aren't using it, it still guzzles the power and dies."

Jareth sighed in exasperation as Lyn dropped her techology down and flopped on the bed beside him utterly discouraged.

"Shoddy human magic."

"You're telling me!"

"Does this mean Abby won't get her birthday video?"

"Afraid so, J. . . Ughhhh! I just feel awful now! She's such a sweet friend and I wanted to do something nice for her this year!"

The Goblin King reached out to wrap an arm around the sad looking woman, as the both stared up at her ceiling dejectedly. For several moments the two were silent, before Jareth made a loud gasping noise and startled Lyn to the point of screeching.

"What on earth is wrong with you??"

"Lyn I must have lost my marbles!"

The woman looked at him curiously. "Come again, boyo?"

"I still have my crystals, dearest!" He crowed with a hawkish grin, his mismatched eyes sparkling mirthfully. "We can send Abby her birthday well-wishes through my magic."

Lyn's face transformed with understanding before she beamed at her friend. "Yayyyyy! .  . . Wait! Hold the phone! . .  Could we blow her kisses instead of sing?"

Jareth chuckled as one of his crystals formed effortlessly in his palm. "Are you sure you're an adult, precious?"

Lyn laughed before cuddling in close so the view of his magic would capture them both. "Don't rag on the blowing of kisses Jareth. Both kiddies and adults can look fabulous doing it!"

Jareth lifted an eyebrow before raising his hand to match Lyn's. "I hope you're right about that pet. Otherwise she might question our sanity."

"Shut up and kiss, Goblin King."

"Very well."

And then both writer and Fae blew the most fabulous kisses in the world, and somewhere Thranduil sputtered and choked on his wine. And all the while the strange and ever-changing universe wished Abby the happiest of birthdays.

A quick birthday gift for my dear :iconmusicrocks14: Jareth and I decided she needed some kisses. Hahah! Hope you guys enjoyed it too! :aww:
